Creative Direction Mentorship

8 Weeks

A focused online mentorship for artists who want to understand their own process, develop visual confidence, and move from scattered experimentation toward a more personal artistic direction.

Let’s help your work become clearly yours

The mentorship brings together knowledge usually spread across social media, Patreon videos, online classes, recorded workshops, live workshops, and years of teaching experience — but applies it directly to your own work.

The 8-Week Creative Path

For self-taught artists, emerging artists, illustrators, sketchbook artists, and mixed media practitioners with a basic or intermediate practice.

  • Useful if you feel blocked, repetitive, overcontrolled, too dependent on references, or unsure about your own visual language — and if you want more freedom while still needing structure, more intuition while making better decisions.

  • A focused structure to help you read your current practice, identify your visual language, and move toward a clearer direction.

Adaptive Structure and Feedback

You will have access to a dedicated development space where you will receive information, weekly assignments, tasks, and exercises tailored to your needs, goals, and priorities.

This space will also serve as the place where you submit your exercises, comments, questions, and requests.

There will be an initial 30-minute onboarding call to introduce the structure of the mentorship, clarify how the process will work, and set an initial direction for your practice.

You will also receive weekly feedback as a response to each assignment you complete. The feedback will focus on composition, rhythm, contrast, materials, layering, visual tension, coherence, and the decisions that can help your work move forward.

At the end of the mentorship, we will have a final feedback session where we will go through the full mentoring process, review the evolution of your work, and evaluate possible next steps.

  • Participants who have taken part in one of my workshops will receive two additional weeks at the beginning of the mentorship at no extra cost. These extra weeks are designed to support a smoother transition from the workshop into the mentorship, allowing you to apply the strategies, guidance, and information received during the workshop.

Suggested Roadmap

Week 1

Visual Mapping

We begin by reading your current work. We look at what is already present: your habits, visual patterns, strengths, doubts, and recurring decisions.

Week 2

Material Intelligence

We study how your tools, surfaces, textures, marks, and materials affect the way your work speaks. Materials are part of the language.

Week 3

Compositional Tension

We work on balance, hierarchy, empty space, visual weight, contrast, rhythm, and how the eye moves through the image.

Week 4

Structured Improvisation

We use improvisation as a starting strategy: not as chaos, but as a way to move from fear and overthinking into action.

Week 5

Recognising Your Visual Language

We identify what already belongs to you: gestures, tensions, marks, colours, rhythms, subjects, or decisions that repeat naturally.

Week 6

Building Coherence

We explore how different works can speak to each other through repetition, variation, rhythm, format, materials, or narrative connections.

Week 7

Editing and Resolution

We focus on what to keep, what to remove, what to strengthen, and how to know when a piece has reached its strongest possible state.

Week 8

Future Direction

We review the full process and define a clear, practical direction so you can continue working independently with more confidence and clarity.

A final 45-minute Zoom feedback session and a written review based on your weekly submissions, with a clear direction for your next stage.

Q&A

For artists who already make work, but need more clarity, continuity, confidence, and structure.

You will work on your current artistic process: composition, rhythm, line, contrast, materials, layering, texture, visual tension, editing, and coherence. The goal is not to produce perfect finished pieces, but to understand your decisions better and build a clearer creative direction from what is already present in your wo

No. This is not a regular workshop, a recorded course, or another set of tutorials to consume. It is a personalised mentorship space where the focus is your own work. Instead of following a fixed lesson, you receive guidance, feedback, selected exercises, and direction based on what your process actually needs.

You will receive personalised written feedback based on your weekly submissions. The feedback focuses on composition, rhythm, contrast, materials, layering, visual tension, coherence, and the decisions that can help your work move forward.

By the end, your work should feel clearer, more connected, and more intentional. You will begin to recognise the first signs of a personal voice reflected in your work: in the way you compose, choose materials, repeat certain gestures, create rhythm, and make decisions.

No. The mentorship is about founding the visual language that is hiden in your work. Through feedback and selected exercises, your compositions, materials, and decisions start to become more intentional and more clearly yours
